If you’re of a certain age (say… ours) you likely have very specific memories of Tabitha Soren — the red-haired girl teaching us about politics and world affairs on MTV, encouraging us to Rock the Vote. But Soren has been out of media for a while now, and deep into a second career as a photographer.

Soren will be appearing at Arcana Books in Culver City on Saturday, April 29 from 4-6 pm. It’s worth checking out. The book is very cool, and she’s had a really fascinating career.
