It’s been 40 years since Saturday Night Fever hit theaters, and while many remember it for the music and, um, “period” fashion, it’s easy to forget a) how good a movie it is, and b) how influential it was.

To honor the anniversary, Andy sat down with director John Badham, going through the making of the movie and what gave it cultural relevance. They kick around the rest of Badham’s career as well, including killer movies like “War Games.”
